We’re a forward-looking church, but we’re conscious that we’re following a long line of God’s faithful people! If history is your thing, you can delve into the story of St Andrew’s over the past 50 years, and also learn something about the story of our town of Arbroath and the famous landmark across the road from us – Arbroath Abbey.

The Story of Arbroath Arbroath has a long and eventful history, summarised here by our long-serving former Session Clerk, Bill Shaw. Bill had a long-standing interest in our local history and was a prominent member of the Arbroath Abbey Pageant Society.
