ARK – Acts of Random Kindness – are part of the remit of the Service Core Group.  Two or three times a year suitable acts of kindness are identified and these are most successful when many members of the congregation take part.

Past Acts include the congregation donating 1,500 cans of Coca Cola which were handed out at the local Sea Fest.  An accompanying message of God’s love was attached to each can and these were given as a gift to members of the public.  One Easter, 1,500 chicks were knitted, a chocolate egg placed in each and again these were handed out to the people of Arbroath in the High Street.  As an expression of our appreciation of the work they do, trays of cakes baked by members of the congregation have been given to firemen, teachers in local schools and to carers in local residential homes for the elderly.
