Our Church buildings have reverberated this week to the sounds of children – over 700 of them in all – singing Christmas carols and presenting their Nativity Plays!! What a joy it has been to welcome them, along with their teachers and family members. As the dust settles and as the noise of the last classes to leave drifted into the distance, we surveyed the scene and summed it up as being like ‘an explosion in a tinsel factory!!’ But who cares about the mess? We can always tidy up! The most important thing is to welcome children – and that we did. Till the next time!
