Each Monday afternoon a dedicated group of volunteers staff the phones under the auspices of the UCB Prayerline. Calls are received from all over Britain and the volunteers lend a listening ear to those who may be in need and are able to offer the comfort of relevant Bible readings. It is not a counselling or advice service but offers the Christian message as a resource for living.
