Our Vision Our Very Own WWW
First of all there is WELCOME. We are committed to being a family, that is a group of people bound together in love, but the kind of family that is open for others to come into it. There are no entrance exams or, no qualifications that are required, an no-one is concerned as to your background - who you are, where you've been or what you've done. Regardless of all of that, those who come seeking spiritual fulfilment and the fellowship of other Christians are welcome. Come as you are ... whoever you are and wherever you're at.
Then there is WORSHIP. That's the first and most important thing that we do. We would go so far as to say that we are created for that purpose - that we might worship God. At St Andrew's, there are various opportunities for worship. Sunday morning at 11am is our main gathering - a lively, 75min service of praise and prayer, during which we take time to reflect on what we believe God is saying to us. There there is Wednesday morning at 10.30am - a 35min service, ideal for those who can't make Sunday and for those who prefer a shorter option. Finally, on the first Sunday of every month, at 8pm, we offer OFF THE W.O.L. (Worship Our Lord), a time of worship in which the focus is on experiencing God and interacting with others.
Finally, there is WITNESS. We are not Christians for our own sake. Rather we are called to share what we ourselves have found to be true. Through our words and actions, it is for each one of us to refect the love of God in our everyday living, that others might in turn be drawn towards Him.
If you would like to see and hear a sample of what goes on at St Andrew's, and find out what our members feel about this church family, we have produced a 15-minute DVD about the life of St Andrew's which we would love you to have as a gift from us - please contact the church office if you're interested in receiving a copy. You can see a selection of stills from the DVD in our online slideshow.
