April 7-11th has been Holiday Club week at St. Andrew’s, with Mega Makers being the theme. And what a fantastic week it’s been, with almost 70 children signed up and every day being a fun-filled combination of crazy games, story and song, and simple Christian teaching. With all of the stories coming from Matthew’s Gospel, the children have had the chance to learn something about Jesus, and his love for us. And they’ve been able to do it in a warm and welcoming environment which, we trust, will have allowed them to develop a thoroughly positive impression of what Christian faith is all about. Judging by their faces as the children left after each session, we succeeded beyond our wildest dreams!
