First off, there was our open air service with our friends at Old & Abbey Church which took place, as always, amid the ruins of Arbroath Abbey.

Though the service took place next to the graveyard, life rather than death was very much the theme. Almost 100 people enjoyed the beautiful early morning sunlight AND the bacon rolls for breakfast that followed!

The main morning celebration saw St. Andrew’s Church packed very nearly to capacity with latecomers having to be seated on the stage area behind the choir! With wonderful singing and all-age communion to finish it was a worship time just right for Easter Sunday.

The day was rounded off with an Easter evening special which saw around 150 people in attendance. The praise band led the worship while special guests from Arbroath Academy led a brilliantly high-powered dance routine to illustrate the anti-slavery song, 27 million.
