 22nd & 23rd September 2017

We are delighted to be running our very own worship event and hope that you will be able to join us for what will be an amazing time of teaching, worship and fellowship.

The weekend starts off with us welcoming Allan McKinlay and his band back to St. Andrew’s on Friday night, where they will lead us in a night of worship and introduce us to some of his own songs that he has written.

On the Saturday, we start our day off with tea/coffee & croissants while giving everyone an opportunity to sign up for their preferred workshops. Phil Mellstrom will lead us all in the first session – looking at “Conversations in Worship”. After the first session we will break for lunch together before breaking in to smaller groups for the chosen sessions.

The sessions will last for around an hour with enough time in between to move to the next session.

All afternoon sessions will be run twice, giving you the opportunity to choose two from the options below and you can sign up for your chosen sessions on the day.

1. Can’t Sit Still, Won’t Sit Still: Bodies, Landscapes, Physicality as Allies in Prayer – led by Jo Love from Wild Goose Resource Group
2. What do we do when we praise? – led by Phil Mellstrom
3. Art in Worship (Print Making) – led by our own Meg and Laurie Harris
4. Flags and Banners – led by Chloe Leuchars, from Lowson Memorial Church, Forfar
5. Drama – led by Rob Rawson, Church of Scotland Mission Development Worker

We will then bring the day to an end with a time of worship let by Phil Mellstrom.

Both the Friday evening and Saturday (including lunch) are FREE – an offering plate will be available for donations at the door. For catering purposes, we would ask that you get your tickets from the church office – if possible. You are more than welcome to join us without a ticket.
