At St Andrew's we have always been committed to young people and to their well-being and it's no different today. That's why we provide a wide range of activities intended to encourage young people in their personal, social, emotional and spiritual development. We've underlined that level of commitment since 1999 by investing our resources in employing a Youth Worker. Sheila Dunphty co-ordinates a range of youth work initiatives for different ages, and is also a key figure in the development of the Oyster Bar, an alcohol-free "local" for young adults in Arbroath.

We have adopted the Church of Scotland's policy to safeguard the wellbeing of young people, and our youth work team adheres to a code of good practice in all their dealings with young people.
