Looking After Our Children

When one reads the statistics concerning the plight of children in the poorest parts of the world, the sense of hopelessness felt can be overwhelming – the scale of the problem far beyond our ability to make a difference. But when you think in terms of the 300 children we care for in our two centres in Malawi, suddenly it becomes more manageable. And all the more so, when we start to think in terms of individual children, we begin to realise that with love and practical compassion, EVERYTHING is possible!Pictured here is one such child – just one of the 136 children sponsored by members of our congregation. Each child has his or her own particular needs and circumstances and through our support, these are being addressed in such a way as to genuinely make a difference. The good news is that every penny that we raise or give towards this work goes straight to where it is needed. Let us continue to be inspired then, that children such as this one might know a brighter future.
